The Mine Company was founded in 2019 by Kerry O’Donoghue. After her fiancé, Matthew, proposed, Kerry was looking for a way to clean her beautiful new engagement ring whether she was at home, the office, or traveling. She tested hundreds of jewelry cleaners, but nothing worked just right or kept up with her on-the-go lifestyle. She made it her mission to brighten every bride’s jewelry and day with her Crystal Clear Carats On-The-Go Cleaner Pen.
While in the midst of planning her destination wedding and launching Crystal Clear Carats, Kerry experienced the stress many brides face when bringing their dream day to life – demanding family members, guest list woes, complicated vendor scheduling, and ultimately a postponement due to a global pandemic. After speaking with other brides, Kerry realized that the joy of the engagement was lost and she knew brides deserved better. More importantly, brides needed self-care during this pivotal moment of their lives. They needed time away from the stress of wedding planning to become the glowing bride they hoped they would be from the get-go. Thus, The Mine Company became a wellness brand for the modern bride.
- While launching with our favorite and ever so handy jewelry cleaner pen, we have always had high hopes for where The Mine Company is headed. Each purchase from our loving brides brings us closer to executing on our vision, which is to expand beyond Home & Bath products and into Beauty and Supplements. Wellness is a more encompassing lifestyle and home and bath products only touch the surface of that. We want every bride to be stress-free, and we plan to care for the whole bride through a growing line of self-care products.
We love being a part of every bride’s day as her ‘something blue’ with Crystal Clear Carats. Our passion is to create wellness items that bring back the joy to the engagement, and our hope is that with each use of one of our products, brides have restored faith that this time in their engagement is truly their time to shine. Our products are carefully produced either in-house or with ethically sourced contract manufacturers.
